These are assets intended for the long-term operation of the company. The definition of movable property is also given in the third part of the Civil Law of the Republic of Latvia, in case law:
842. article - "Ķermeniskas lietas ir vai nu kustamas vai nekustamas, raugoties pēc tam, vai tās var vai nevar pārvietot, ārēji nebojājot, no vienas vietas uz otru."
843. article - "Likums, tāpat kā privāta griba, var nekustamām lietām piemērojamas tiesības attiecināt uz tādām lietām, kas pēc savām īpašībām ir kustamas un otrādi."
