The Association seeks the following goals by carrying out its business:1) promoting, enhancing, developing and implementing the activity of professional valuation of business and property in the Republic of Lithuania;2) implementing and promoting international standards and guidance on valuation of property and business in the Republic of Lithuania, developing new national standards based on the above sources;3) certification of corporate valuers of business and property, assuring necessary supervision over their activity;4) integrating the activities of enterprises engaged in valuation of property and those engaged in valuation of business;5) accumulating and disseminating scientific, guidance materials and information on the issues of valuation of assets and business.

LGVA analyses and puts into practice the European and worldwide experience in modern cattle breeding. It also pays great attention to the detailed analysis of the EC legislative regarding animal breeding as well as to the practical use of these rules in European countries with the developed cattle breeding industry. The association participated and contributed in creating the Lithuanian Animal Breeding Law according the EC standards and took part in the preparation of the strategies for the future development of animal breeding in Lithuania.

The establishment of the Association was urged by several reasons:there was no associated institution representing interests of cosmetics and household chemicals producers/importers in Lithuania until 2000; willingness to take active participation in the public life and in the process of harmonisation of legislation during the Lithuania's integration to the European Union period.

Main activities of LDHA: To represent the rights of the members, defend their interests in state, public and international organization;To form and coordinate groups of specialist for preparation of legal and technical acts regarding development and management of DH sector. To provide all the necessary, legal and technical consultancy, the information on new technologies, business and managements subjects to the members; To arrange seminars, conferences, exhibitions. To establish and develop economical-technical links with international organizations and foreign partners. To carry all the other activities regarding promotion and development of DH/CHP in Lithuania.

The Association of Lithuanian Trade Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the Association) has been recognized as an influential organization, developing the trade business of the country. The representatives of the Association are involved in the work groups of the Seimas, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Environment, and other state institutions of the Republic of Lithuania, working out the suggestions for the legal acts in connection with business regulation, they discuss and comment the newly framed or improved draft legal acts. The Association initiates the cooperation between the members and associated business structures, colleges, as well as business controlling institutions of the country, actively responds to the changes in business environment and conditions, dictated by the market, as well as mediates on behalf of the non-governmental organizations and business companies in the initiation of the cooperation projects.

Invest Lithuania is a Lithuanian government agency that provides free advice and introductions to on the ground experts to global companies interested in doing business in Lithuania.The agency serves as a point of contact for foreign companies and guides international businesses through every step of the process of setting up operations in Lithuania.Invest Lithuania also provides information on Lithuania's highly-skilled yet cost-competitive labour force, tax incentives, and financing options.

Lithuanian Wind Power Association's activities:analysis of the wind energy market's dynamics and variations, research into Lithuanian wind energy perspectives; coordination of wind energy companies' and other entities' activities; research and analysis of international and regional science and technology achievements in the wind energy sector; participation in international conferences, collaboration with national and foreign industrial, scientific and public institutions and organizations; representation of the Association's members at the authorities of the Republic of Lithuania, and the protection of their interests; lobbying and other activities related to wind energy promotion.

Mision:To help companies from Lithuanian Food Exporters Association to increase competitiveness in foreign markets by uniting the capabilities, expertise and contacts.

The main goal of the Association is strive for quality and professionalism in design and consultancy services, establishment of additional value for a project, tendering sustainable solutions for the built up and natural areas, management of risks and project expenses and secure the project social and economical efficiency.

The association involves the producers and suppliers of solid biofuel and other renewable local resources, such as wood, straw, energetic willows, peat, as well as the producers and designers of biofuel boiler rooms and other equipment, developers of plantations and academic institutions.

Main goals to represent association member rights, to defend their interests in state and public institutions. To introduce in companies ISO and EN standards. To stimulate high quality and competitiveness of association member manufactured products. To organize creative collaboration between the Association member managers and specialists. To collaborate with scientific institutions. To organize conferences. Problem, technical, scientific and other issue discussion, as well as specialist training.

Primary objectives of Association are coordination of activities of companies – Association members for solving common problems, representation and protection of interests delegated by Association members at state and international organizations of the Republic of Lithuania.

Main objectives of the Confederation are To create most favourable conditions for the development of economic, technical and social progress of Lithuanian enterprises regardless their form of the ownership To represent rights of the members of the Confederation and defend their interests in the governmental, social and international structuresTo expand markets for products and raw materials, to improve conditions of exports as well as for imports in order to enable Lithuanian industry to contribute a proper contribution to the strengthening of the national economy.

The principal objective of a Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts is to represent the interests of its members, and render them necessary services.

The activities of the Association are administered by a permanent Directorate, which is responsible for the appropriate representation of its members in Lithuania and abroad, the collection and dissemination of information necessary to the business activities of enterprises engaged in the production and commerce of wood products. The Directorate looks after the compliance of the Lithuanian regulations on the production and commerce of wood products and of the attestation of specialists in wood industry with the international standards. It also promotes the membership of the Association in the respective international organisations so that Lithuanian wood industry could receive as much information as possible and Lithuanian specialists could participate in various instructive and commercial events in other countries.

We coordinate activities of Association members in the development of rural tourism in Lithuania. Organization of seminars, conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions, development of methodological materials, issuance of information booklet about Association and its member activities; improvement of Association members qualification, organization of practice in the country and abroad; cooperation with similar organizations in the Republic of Latvia and other countries, as well as cooperation with international organizations , participation in them.

The Lithuanian Governmental Strategic Committee, which approved guidelines on the basis of study on the “Relevance and Economic Impact a Modern Shipping Policy on Lithuania’s Economy” yet demands continuing improvement of reputation of the Lithuanian flag, that the Lithuanian fleet would become a competitive branch of EU industry and an integral part of Lithuania as a maritime state.

The main objectives of the Union of Lithuanian Traders, Industrialists and Handicraftsmen were to “improve the economic well-being of the nation by uniting all Lithuanian traders, industrialists and handicraftsmen, as well as caring for their legal, economic and cultural affairs, improving their professional skills, and supporting Lithuanian trade, industry and crafts”.

The purposes of the Association is:to encourage and expand connections, trade and investments between Sweden and Lithuania; to promote the interests of it’s Members in relation to above; to provide a business network for Swedish and Lithuanian companies and individual.

We cooperate with Lithuanian and foreign partners regarding economic and technological issues.
