Looking for Things to Do in Riga? Discover GUNSnLASERS

Looking for fun things to do in Riga beyond the usual cafés, museums and walks through the Old Town? GUNSnLASERS offers four entertainment parks across the city where visitors can race, compete, explore virtual worlds and spend a few active hours with friends, family or colleagues.

From laser tag and electric go karting to paintball, airsoft, virtual reality, karaoke and interactive games, the choice makes GUNSnLASERS suitable for birthdays, weekends with friends, family outings, school groups and corporate events.

Four entertainment parks, different experiences

Each GUNSnLASERS entertainment park in Riga has its own character and selection of activities.

The Šampēteris entertainment park is located in a former textile factory in Pārdaugava. More than 1,200 m² of indoor playing areas are combined with outdoor zones. Visitors can choose laser tag, paintball, free roaming virtual reality and the Pixel Room.

The Jugla entertainment park is built for larger scale action. More than 4,200 m² of indoor areas include a 30 metre aircraft, secret passages and multi level structures. Activities include electric go karting, laser tag, a golf simulator  and airsoft.

At Mežaparks, the setting is different again. The entertainment park is located in the territory of a former military base, creating a fitting environment for laser tag, airsoft and paintball.

Those looking for indoor activities in Riga city centre can visit GUNSnLASERS at Galerija Centrs. Here guests can combine electric go karting with an airsoft shooting range, karaoke rooms, billiards and free roaming virtual reality.

A competitive group experience with laser tag

Laser tag is one of the easiest activities to enjoy as a group. The rules are simple, everyone takes part at the same time and each game quickly turns into a mix of movement, teamwork and tactics. Players compete in teams and complete different missions in specially designed arenas. Hits are registered electronically, so there is no paint and no physical projectiles.

At GUNSnLASERS, laser tag is suitable for players from the age of 4, making it a good choice for families with children as well as birthday parties, groups of friends, school groups and team building events. Different game formats also keep the experience fresh, so both younger players and adults can enjoy the game together.

Race for the fastest lap with electric go karting

Ready for some friendly competition? Indoor electric go karting at GUNSnLASERS lets you challenge friends, family or colleagues and find out who is fastest on the track. Electric karts offer quick acceleration and responsive handling, while the indoor tracks mean racing is available throughout the year, whatever the weather.

Electric go karting is available at the Jugla and Galerija Centrs entertainment parks. The kart speed can be adjusted to suit different drivers, and children from 1.10 metres in height can get behind the wheel too. This makes karting a fun option for families with children as well as groups of friends, couples, birthday parties and company events.

The goal is simple - learn the track, improve your lap time and try to cross the finish line ahead of everyone else.

Take on a tactical challenge with paintball and airsoft

For groups who want more action, strategy and competition, paintball and airsoft turn the day into a team challenge where communication and quick decisions matter.

At the Mežaparks entertainment park, GUNSnLASERS offers paintball and SOFT paintball on themed outdoor fields. Instructors explain the rules, divide players into teams and lead different missions throughout the game. At Šampēteris, visitors can try reball, a paintball style game played with reusable rubber balls.

Airsoft is available at Mežaparks and Jugla, combining realistic equipment with mission based gameplay and varied playing environments. Teams need to communicate, plan their moves and work together to complete each objective.

For those who would rather test their accuracy, the GUNSnLASERS entertainment park at Galerija Centrs and Jugla also features an airsoft shooting range, where visitors can focus on target shooting and precision.

Step into the action with free roaming virtual reality

Free roaming virtual reality gives you more freedom than a standard VR experience. Instead of standing in one place, you move around the playing area while your movements are transferred into the virtual world.

At GUNSnLASERS, free roaming VR is available at Šampēteris and Galerija Centrs, while Jugla also offers virtual reality experiences. Depending on the game, players can explore, compete or work together as a team.

Because the experience takes place indoors, VR is also a good choice when looking for things to do in Riga on a rainy day or during the colder months.

Mix the action with Pixel Room, minigolf, karaoke and billiards

Not every visit has to be about racing or tactical games. GUNSnLASERS also offers lighter, social activities that fit well alongside the more active experiences.

The Pixel Room is available at Šampēteris, Jugla and Galerija Centrs. The illuminated floor becomes part of the game, with players moving between tiles, reacting quickly and completing different challenges. It is easy to understand and works well for families, friends and mixed age groups.

At Galerija Centrs, visitors can also enjoy karaoke rooms, billiards and minigolf, making the location a good choice for a longer evening with friends or colleagues.

Jugla also offers a golf simulator for those who want to test their swing indoors. Together, these activities make it easy to combine more active experiences with lighter, social entertainment in one visit.
